I have 33 years of experience and offer high quality one-on-one grooming with patience and a gentle touch for medium and toy breeds.
My background is in dog training and behavior and over the years I have attended hands-on workshops and lectures with some of the dog training industries most prominent dog trainers and behaviorists such as Ian Dunbar, Patricia McConnell, PhD, Terry Ryan, Jean Donaldson, Karen Pryor, Pamela Reid, PhD, Steve White and Sue Sternberg.
My Philosophy
I believe the most important aspect of dog grooming is putting your dog at ease with the grooming process. The first step in this process is earning your dog's trust. I work differently than most groomers in that I require a meet and greet before booking your first appoinment. This give me the opportunity to evaluate your dog's specific grooming needs and allows me to book the appropriate amount of time in my grooming schedule.
I take great pride in the quality of my work and keep current with the breed standards by participating in workshops and attending grooming seminars.
